[reverberations]
Paid my debt and grief took over,
sorrow I hadn't seen for long
phantoms of old
a black hole
a memory, of a love that was gone
A man I though would be there forever
but neither of us, had what it would have taken
You can't just catch and keep
what is wild at heart
you must tame it and let it learn to trust you
and eats from your hand,
He wasn't willing take the risk
And now, just a vague scars remind
Expensive it was, to live in a lie
And wish someone had said it earlier
He loves you, but He doesn't love enough
the One for who you are willing to sacrifice all,
So I left, broken and abused
and so confused
There must be redemption
There is hope
but in the darkness of night
when it's hard to see beyond immediate
Sometimes I hesitate
I've learnt to not to be afraid anymore
Smile, dance, laugh without regrets
Will this residue go away
or must it be loved out?

[like guardian angels]
Kansas City Boiler Room from KC Boiler Room on Vimeo.
I adore the cinematic feel of this short introduction to the life of dear friends in Kansas City Boiler Room. I'm extremely excited to see these stories being birthed in my home country and in my city.lauantaina, joulukuuta 03, 2011

[Perfect +/-1]
An evening which turned from work to prayer,
from prayer to revelation,
from revelation to shared understanding,
from understanding to knowing,
from knowing to scheming,
scheming and planning,
and laughter, and thanksgiving,
with a good meal and fazer blue,
and glögi and friends,
family gathered around
a dinner table and God.
Celebrating what is and what is to come.
Cycling home, in light snow fall.
You paint my world beautiful.
//Fire haunts us holds us now
Bright eyes still hides us, takes us now
Still spins us wild
Sweet voice calls us
When black face chase us
Come to me, hide in me
Run into this
Storms fear us here
They take us now
Under your wings I'll hide//

[used to to be]
Walked through it, but not in there anymore,
thanks to the One who build me back,
and is in the process of restoration
and draws my boundaries in pleasant places,
so I can love and be loved again.
But the song is a beautiful reminder.
thanks to the One who build me back,

so I can love and be loved again.
But the song is a beautiful reminder.

[it comes in waves]
One says yes
One says no
I've got to stop to listen to these voices
And you are silent
Somewhere like behind a veil
Beautifully drawn picture
I can draw into existence
what we don't have
And you are silent
Did I ever matter
or did you ever consider
I don't dare to ask
And you are silent
On thin ice, with plenty of sand
a bucket of small fish
and so many generations of curly haired children
stunning but not yet born
And you are silent
One says no
I've got to stop to listen to these voices
And you are silent
Somewhere like behind a veil
Beautifully drawn picture
I can draw into existence
what we don't have
And you are silent
