brilliance in shadows

sometimes i wish i'd know what to ask
how to let you know
give me the right questions
shall we expect great things
and
hungry, thirsty,
one thing I ask
all tones of glory
all shades of things to come.

[If.]

I don't even want to pretend
you would find out anyway
see how yeah actually yeah
I have no idea
and the dreams that are there
I suddenly just felt so very protective
It was when I wasn't fully sure
if you were being genuine
or would you run after others
Affection
Affliction
So weird
It paralyses my thinking
and my defence rises
Don't want to get hurt
Don't want to get close
But I like what I see
And I like the way you are
And let me be
And share the what I have
Just give me some time
to learn to trust
and to trust my senses
and let down my defences
Learn to live
in this village of the world.

[Invitation Only]

Would you build with me a home
under the waterfall
Where light meets raindrops
turns them to diamonds of all
colours of the spectrum
Would you have with me many sons
sons of thunder
fierce and gentle like the wind
Raise them to go to the ends of the earth
and joyfully grief when they are do.

I smile. If only I would.

To look like a spring day
crowned young like blossoming trees
or the very first winter morning
painted with lace of frost
Not a problem to be solved
but a mystery to be enjoyed
Carrying the scars of lessons learnt
Complicated becomes simple
I am not your answer.
Patchwork of details drawing a match
when you stand only an arms length away.

I smile. If only I would.
Hope.

[Intensité]

When tears came down
I would not look at you
ashamed of hurting
Unpleasantly fragile
Sparkle,
So afraid
of being vulnerable
closing in
So you won't see
on the streams of dreams of
sleepless fields where I walk
Offer the strength
to drink in the beauty
come further in
see the joy.
Tame me.

Lumi

Sweet intoxicating lullaby
shakes me up
wakes me up alive
I want to enter the storehouses of snow
and see the arsenals of hail
ignite the little flames
stretch the net of golden thread
across the lands
ja jo alkaa hyttyset ja pienet eläimet tanssimaan

chante-moi une chanson
courir avec moi
oh bonheur

[Se suloinen tainnuttava kehtolaulu
herättääkin minut eloon
tahdon käydä paikassa jossa lunta säilytetään
nähdä rakeiden varastot
sytytä pienet liekit tuleen
levitä kultalangat yli maan]

[Dear.]

Aamuruskon peura,
hämärtyvien puiden suojassa
minä odotan
Lukemattomien erkaantuvien askelten otteessa
Idän puolella valot kertovat kodeista
aukenevan kaiun huminan laulu pakenevasta hetkestä
En pelkää pimeää
Kylkiluuton, Tule,
en ole valmis minäkään
kyllä nuo kultaiset linnut ohjaavat
seitsemän valtameren rannoille
merirosvojen aarteille
salaisille saarille
elävän veden lähteille
Tule, juostaan.

[Song for four days]

I was born of laughter
sweet tender dreams
and of a hard labour
of warring seas.
I was raised to believe in seasons
dawn that follows every winter
spring that comes after the darkest hour.

I was born of songs of those
that fly high and free
With ablaze they soar
to paint a scenery yet to be
I was raised to believe in goodness
in everything I see
to go after evil

and rescue those captives
who in their own strength
could not flee.

[love aggressively, let it take over]

"It’s a prayer written by missionary Betty Scott Stam, who stayed at Elisabeth Elliot’s house when Elisabeth was just a little girl and Betty was a young woman. She was on her way to China, to marry her fiancé John and join his mission work.
Elisabeth Elliot copied the prayer in her journal:
"Lord, I give up all my own plans and purposes, all my own desires and hopes, and accept Your will for my life. I give myself, my life, my all utterly to You to be Yours forever. Fill me and seal me with Your Holy Spirit. Use me as You want, send me where You want, work out Your whole will in my life at any cost, now and forever."
Betty Scott Stam meant that prayer. And God answered it. She and her husband were killed only a few years after Elisabeth first met her.
While most of us may not be called to die for our faith, we can all follow Betty’s example—by giving up all our own plans and purposes and joyfully accepting God’s will for our life.
God's will--as Elisabeth Elliot reminds us, "is always different from what [we] expect, always bigger, and, ultimately, infinitely, more glorious than [our] wildest imaginings."

but I think it's great.

[..If God is a DJ Life is a dance floor..]

one of the list

"...waves of laughter washing over me, surf in the joy, lift me up/
shaking, stirring, sandpaper the pain of professional dead ends/
grieving on the tombstone of confidence long lost/
but your honesty, your knowing of my heart so sobering/
and strong/ feels like love..."

I had a nice 5 day break when a good friend of mine was visiting,
but it also caused some major delay in a lot of things I'd
promised and some other things I really wanted to do.
Now I've worked the whole afternoon to catch up, and only got
to cross of 2 things out of 12 on my list. Whoa. I'm avoiding
to feel too overwhelmed and trying to grab hard on my surd
board to stay on top of the wave. It is a bit insane though,
and especially as I really wanted to do some of the things which
are now either have escaped my reach or I'm way too late for.
And how did things get so busy that there is no time
to sort out my own life? Need to learn to say no to things,
seriously get better disciplined and find a better space
for working, getting out from the house helps a lot too.

Thank God for God who exists though, and helps me stay sane.

And it's only 2 weeks for my birthday and I have no time or energy to think of a party, which makes me bit sad if I'd have time for sadness, It's my first Birthday in the United Kingdom.

['To my band of boarders 2']

We Happy Few
Once more, lend a mythic eye to your situation. Let your heart ponder this:

You awake to find yourself in the middle of a great and terrible war. It is, in fact, our most desperate hour. Your King and dearest Friend calls you forth. Awake, come fully alive, your good heart set free and blazing for him and for those yet to be rescued. You have a glory that is needed. You are given a quest, a mission that will take you deep into the heart of the kingdom of darkness, to break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron so that your people might be set free from their bleak prisons. He asks that you heal them. Of course, you will face many dangers; you will be hunted.

Would you try and do this alone?

Something stronger than Fate has chosen you. Evil will hunt you. And so a Fellowshipmust protect you.

Honestly, though he is a very brave and true Hobbit, Frodo hasn't a chance without Sam, Merry, Pippin, Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli. He will need his friends. And you will need yours. You must cling to those you have, you must search wide and far for those you do not yet have. You must not go alone. From the beginning, right there in Eden, the Enemy's strategy has relied upon a simple aim: Divide, and conquer. Get them isolated, and take them out.

You see this sort of thing at the center of every great story. Dorothy takes her journey with the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Lion, and of course, Toto. Maximus rallies his little band and triumphs over the greatest empire on earth. When Captain John Miller is sent deep behind enemy lines to save Private Ryan, he goes in with a squad of men. And, of course, Jesus had the Twelve. This is written so deeply on our hearts: You must not go alone. The Scriptures are full of such warnings, but until we see our desperate situation, we hear it as an optional religious assembly for an hour on Sunday mornings.

Imagine you are surrounded by a small company of friends who know you well (characters, to be sure, but they love you, and you have come to love them). They understand that we are all at war, know that the purposes of God are to bring a man or woman fully alive, and are living by sheer necessity and joy in the Four Streams. They fight for you, and you for them. Imagine you could have a little fellowship of the heart. Would you want it, if it were available?

That is our destiny.

[drawing faces]

played with photoshop, layers hues saturation, really simple,
almost like stretching, while working on something more complicated.

[ella con hable]

She draws sweet pictures to your words,
Writes down aberrant words for your songs.
Savage,
She was born again as a white tiger.
Controversial stretching across canvas.
Her laughter is soap bubbles on the sky
and she doesn't let you go before
the dawn paints scenery with it's golden hue.
Uncontrollably life giving
breathing strong
longing, what a beautiful word
(kaipaus mikä ihana sana)
for space that gives form for
things once dreamed off.
With tickling beams of light you drew her out of shadows
after
recognising something in her
rather priceless.
She dances around like diamonds of kaleidoscope
so don't worry if the equation always
ends up different outcome,
and yet you can't quite find loyalty
like that in anywhere beyond jonathan.
Fairies burn,
fluffy ones die,
But Hope will live to eternity.

Grant me with Wisdom.
Gentleness. Spice. Loyalty. Fierce love.

If I am,
is it too much for you, will you turn away
to
shallow waters.
Storm in me,
never quite still but
yet calmness that conquers.
Invitation to invite the mystery along.

And it is enchanting
how have you chosen to withdraw
with so much to give why do you keep it
I can see so much greatness,
son of man
but then again greater hands hidden you for season
but why
Can you see what I see
Does it take one to know one
Will you let me in
Will you accept

[Happy Birthday Blog!]

This is a business of a window of opportunity
to see into a closed heart and soul
painting with words
overflow of overwhelmed
a scenery of blazing hot desert
Greetings from the girl
who began this blog 4 years ago.
unfolding,
dry as a bone
uncertainty makes me shiver
whole physical being
asking for acceptance
searching for that liberating safety
Wild night of the rainforest
sounds of steaming darkness
wild wild wild
will you tame it
make your own

Remedy, savannah of hope
Is to be close enough to hear
to sense to know.
to fight on the same side
for the causes that kill us.
I dare you.

[Stoughton Stichers fashionista speaks]

The other night in the dinner table we had a discussion about mens
autumn fashion and especially mens knitwear. As I sometimes do get
enthusiastic and rather passionate and unforgivable opinionated
about mens fashion I thought I'd give this one a bit more thought.
You don’t have to be a hipster thin to wear cardigans or knitwear.
Just layer it over non-bulky shirts like thin button ups,
a bit of check check or a t-shirt. If men just knew how
much they can change their image quite easily,
I'm not saying it's at all about looks,
but a little bit of effort to show off your personality
and it can open up a whole new world.
And knitted things do kind of say 'I'm huggable but cool' :D

Here are my seven favourites for the season. All we need now is
a fireplace or candles, mulled wine or hot chocolate and some funky music
and winter can come anytime it likes.
Becks showing the way of wearing
a granpa gardigan, and looking good.
This would be better in just one color, but you get the idea.

This is definitely one of my favorites.
You just want to give this man a hug.
Random but rather cool way to wear knitwear.
Casual with style.

Old fashioned gentleman look. Very hot.

Can I knit you a scarf to go with that Ed?

[pro-vision]

A friend of mine was today at our prayer night playing guitar
as we prayed and listened at one point this is what the music sounded like:
- - -
And for sure they will come/
marching on their knees/
with what look like empty hands/
broken hearts/
But their eyes burn with hope so bright
the watermark of eternity/
branded with promise/
Their arms are full
they are carrying home
those daughters of Zion
the once lost sons of the High King
Vagabonds stepping in to claim their throne
And they sing
And they dance hauntingly beautiful
dangerously upbeat and provokingly pure
dance and yes they sing
For the Glorious One
Who is
And was
And is to Come.
He is coming.

Princess Diaries II

Defences of a heart
once crushed
seamless wall of self protection
in order to survive
the fittest survive they say and spit on your face
you looked into their eyes said
forgive them they don't know what they are doing

that kind of love i don't know
but i'm learning to know you
my shield my faith my strong tower
and in your hands
i am safe
i can let down my defences
feel the pain
mourn the loss
and you are in the process
of fixing me
repainting my image,
fit to love,
fit to be,
to be me.

Hey God,
are you trying to get back into my heart again,
into those areas I though had turned to a dead cold stone,
amputated or maybe fallen of/

And you come back straight in there
bubbling catch me rather off guard/
saying I am actually loveable,
come like to Cinderella with a pumpkin cart and a fitting shoe
kissing the poison from Snow white's lips, making her alive

Feels like butterflies and fairies
or we should have babies

And do you really mean it
You give a new heart, of flesh,
so jubilant/
and a new name
full of meaning/

['To my band of boarders']

The band of boarders

Is this what we signed in for
to live in the unexpected
band of brothers
United we stand
Sealed by love
Through rain and wind and fire
So many heartbreaks
Heart breaks.
Tears and laughter
Seeing into each other
canon balls fired through darkness
to grow to dream to never loose
Always been
Always are
And will become
We are eternal beings
Spirit, bones, tendons, flesh, skin,
like sea, river, lake, spring we flow
Rest work play pray
Challenged we flex our muscles
Shout and whisper and search
Eternal beings.
In You.
Oh God.

[then just rather dubious]

consciously neurotic/
rather dubious/
sounds about right/
left right left right.

in meeting yourself there is no by-pass/
just an inner being/
mind and heart minding the gap/

chase away all of those little what ifs of sleepless night/
they bear no fruit
but scare them of/
you guilty one.

leap. skip a beat. reverse. turn and /

spilt over/ configuring heart/
bursting out beauty and smiling and yet tearful pain/
tastes like learning to run further/ breathing deeper

recognition/ of something that vaguely sailed by past tahiti of a moment/

echoing of our laughter bouncing of cold walls cobblestone alley way/
was it ever there/ yes yes it's calling us/ come.

[While I am just happy.]

Eleven most fascinating things about life right now:

1) capturing light
2) learning to paint
3) discovering hidden treasures of the scriptures
4) trying out new recipes
5) overcoming fears
6) figuring out boys
7) learning heart's desires
8) happiness as status quo
9) God's provision
10) learning to listen new music
11) understanding a bigger picture

And while here, why wouldn't you visit over my brother Joe's blog, he has usually something well worthwhile reading up there. Peace and out.

[The King is enthralled by your beauty." Psalm 45:11]

I've blogged this same bit in september 22nd in 2007, bu  t felt that it would be alright to borrow it again for you guys to read, it's still something that very much touches my heart. Today I felt in my heart something saying that this new season is once again about growing and what is the most dangerous and adventurous and challenging and rewarding thing I can do is to grow to be more of myself to be more the one I was created to be. And I think this text in a way spurs me toward that freedom. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I want to be beautiful
And make you stand in awe
Look inside my heart
And be amazed
I want to hear you say
Who I am is quite enough
I just want to be worthy of love
And beautiful.

Warrior Princesses

"Me, a princess?"
"You are the legal heir."
"I never lead anyone."
"We will help you to be a princess, to rule. If you refuse to accept the throne then the
kingdom will cease to exist as we know it."
--The Princess Diaries

In God's name we must fight them!
--Joan of Arc
Women are often portrayed in stories and tales as the "Damsel in Distress." We are the ones for whom men rise up and slay dragons. We are the "weaker sex"; said to faint at the sight of blood, needing to be spared the gory details of battle whether on the field or in the market place. We are the ones waiting in our flowing gowns for the knight to come and carry us away on the back of his white horse. And yes. There are days when a knight in shining armor would be most welcome. We do long to be fought for; loved enough to be courageously protected. But there is a mighty fierceness set in the heart of women by God. It is true to who we are and what we are created to do.

Women are warriors too.

Redeemed women of God have tender, merciful hearts, backbones of steel and hands that have been trained for battle. There is something incredibly fierce in the heart of a woman that is to be contended with, not dismissed, not disdained, but recognized, honored, welcomed and trained.

[BLOG A KORAN day]

This blog is my participation to
"Blog a koran day 9/11" by Tall Skinny Kiwi
In order to understand, I need to know,
when I get to know, I begin to love.
Loving, I want to know,
knowing, I begin to understand.

Recently, I had a sabbath meal with friends.
One of our newest friends is a iranian muslim.
It was a privileged to sit by their side,
eating bacon sandwiches and know
that we are both valued and loved by God.

I value friendships, fellow travellers highly.
We are made to make this journey together.
Sometimes you don't agree on everything,
but it doesn't mean you can't travel together.
It's good to have something to talk about ;)

"In essentials unity
In non-essentials liberty.
In all things love."

If we think we know the Truth,
we can invite others to seek Him
with us, with grace and love.
If we invite others, we have to take
responsibility about them.

I have a friend, a lover and a King
who said "Follow me."
"I am the way, the truth and the life."
Many books are written about him,
many songs are composed about him,
many arguments are held about him.
In my opinion, nothing beats getting to know him personally.

A book I read recently was written by a former muslim,
and she often said that not many muslims have
read Qu'ran in a language they understand.
I must confess I've never read Qu'ran, would
be interesting to read it to see what our
muslim brothers and sisters believe in.
Also I think that everybody should read the Bible,
in order to understand what us Christians believe in.

This is a quote from Qu'ran that talks about Jesus:

"Christ, the son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how God makes His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!" (Sura 5:75).

Now I must go and sleep,
tomorrow is another exciting day.
Good night, lovely dreams of a better world
let us respect and love each other

30 Seconds to Mars - Closer To The Edge

Heard a cover version of this song this afternoon when my housemate
had his band practice in our front room (brilliant anyway,
to have a live band playing all afternoon at your house, and they were pretty
good too, and with definitely no shazam needed with songs like
hotel california, don't stop believin', africa and walking in memphis...)
and I liked it so I thought I'd share it! Enjoy!

[a problem and a simple resolution]

They're all reactions! One thing begets the next. A man has a weakness, he's flawed. That flaw leads him to guilt. The guilt leads him to shame. The shame he compensates with pride and vanity. And when pride fails, despair takes over and they all lead to his destruction. It will become his fate... Something's gotta stop the flow. -Jacob (Pathfinder) in the movie Ink
...
Welcomed in to the courts of the King
I've been ushered in to Your presence
Lord, I stand on Your merciful ground
Yet with every step tread with reverence
And I'll fall facedown
As Your glory shines around
Yes, I'll fall facedown
As Your glory shines around
Who is there in the heavens like You?
And upon the earth, who's Your equal?
You are far above, You're the highest of heights
We are bowing down to exalt You
So let Your glory shine around
Let Your glory shine around
King of glory, here be found
King of glory

[..1..2..3..]

A bohemian longing for law and order/
a revolutionary in a self-proclaimed cage of eternal sunshine/
idle intelligence running in circles of cultural tight ropes and language barriers/
ill-timed beginnings and so many false smile ends always one too late/
deep secret fragile desires/
and so many re-constructed mondays/
Freedom, you bring me hope of an eternity ahead!

I would definitely need a project larger than my own self/
I need other human beings
to share to bounce of to grow with to feed to laugh to cry to listen to
How can I see if I have ever grown or even grown up
if there is no one to measure it against
no one to draw the little pencil line on the door frame.

Thoughts that had no reason to be worded out loud
echoing off walls of these empty halls
Haunting presence of the dreams of a shared existence.

[About Boys]

Everyone knows that girls every now and then get together
to talk about boys. Yes it is true, as boys are true mystery to us.
Boys are fascinating and I generally think that
God made very well when He decided
to create Adam.

Here some wonderful quotes about boys by mr Mark Twain:

Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates.
- Life on the Mississippi

There comes a time in every rightly-constructed boy's life when he has a raging desire to go somewhere and dig for hidden treasure.
- The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

We think boys are rude, unsensitive animals but it is not so in all cases. Each boy has one or two sensitive spots, and if you can find out where they are located you have only to touch them and you can scorch him as with fire.
- Mark Twain's Autobiography

Missing Generation pt. I

Last week I attended a great and enlightening seminar by Pete Hughes about the Missing generation.
As someone who is a member of that generation and so are most of my friends,
I find this discussion very interesting and thought-provoking.

Here some quotes from articles or blogs I have recently read:

"Unfortunately what 20-30’s often hear in church is not encouragement to take huge steps in their faith, but to take on huge responsibilities within the church. Churches can all too easily channel the drive, energy and enthusiasm of the 20-30’s into church-based activities – helping with the cleaning rota, youthwork or music – or all three.  Instead of inspiring our young adults for discipleship, we often cause them to burn out and lose all heart for discipleship and the church. What could be character-building, can also become soul-destroying.
from:

Missing Generation - reaching 20s- 30s

http://conversation.lausanne.org/en/conversations/detail/10206#article_page_2 by Krish Kandiah

Soul Survivor leader Mike Pilavachi, addressing the council, said a culture of consumerism, individualism and entitlement has “eaten into the psyche of 20-somethings. What that mitigates against completely is commitment to community,” he said, explaining that 20-somethings are always in a futile search for perfection, are afraid of going into the real world and show a great deal of pain in ministry times. “We’ve got to help them,” he said. “We’ve got to love them, we’ve got to listen to them, but also we’ve got to find ways of gently, lovingly but definitely challenging some of the things that come from a culture of consumerism, individualism and entitlement."

[when...] 2

...i feel that my life is such a waste.
where to look.
there is this eternal hope,
but how to work it out in here.
when there is failure as track record
leadership [you have failed]
relationship [you have failed]
you don't earn enough
you don't have a husband
you don't have children
you don't have a house
you don't have a job
you don't have a position
you don't even speak our language
you don't have impressive skills that we could use
you don't have vision or dreams that we would like
you don't you don't you don't

Maybe when I made the decision it was made with brain
and not with heart, heart that would've chosen shepherds
I could've chosen otherwise and now i see why
But maybe I will grow to be a better
stronger wiser
Proved myself.
Or just failed forevermore.

[when...]

...darkness hits you on the face and pain comes on to surface.
She didn't feel like playing an adult anymore, not too much.
Even after what was said, all true and practical.
Where do you find a way to hear it in a way that it doesn't quite
get distorted and warped and burn down all the little sprouts of hope.

When all shadows scream we told you so, we told you,
you are going to fail you fail you fail you fail
you are not to be trusted you are not
you don't meet our expectations you don't you don't you don't
we never wanted you come along anyway

Where do you stand if you don't know who you are
what do you do when you don't believe in yourself
where do you find strength when who you are is too much and not enough

how can i know if there is a future
what failures grow up to be
how would anyone even like someone like that
yet alone love.

put up a smile and walk tall and fight for yourself
but how do you fight for something that you believe is quite worthless
who would want to own someone like that
too soft for the world
too much and not enough

when ones that gave you life say despite themselves
despite themselves but when that's where you came from
it hurts
how can you believe in you if they don't believe in themselves
if they don't believe in each other

And I don't accept disillusionment as the only way forward
yes it happens [it does] but you can't preach that
you need to tell them what to do, where to find life.
We need people who are alive. Even if being alive would kill them.

[Designed to Flourish]

I was thumbing through a Williams-Sonoma catalog. It calls itself "a catalog for cooks," but really, it's a catalog of the life we wish we had. Everything is beautiful, delicious, elegant. The kitchens portrayed are immaculate-there are no messes. Cooking there would be a joy. The tables are sumptuous with their beautiful china place settings, wine glasses brimming with nectar, gourmet foods deliciously prepared, invitingly presented. Fresh flowers abound. The homes are lovely and spacious; the view out the windows is always a mountain lake, a beach, or perhaps an English garden. Everything is as it ought to be. Glancing through its pages, you get a sense of rest. Life is good. You see, the images whisper, it can be done. Life is within your grasp. And so the quest continues. But of course. Our address used to be Paradise, remember?

And oh, how we yearn for another shot at it. Flip with me for a moment through the photo album of your heart, and collect a few of your most treasured memories. Recall a time in your life when you felt really special, a time when you knew you were loved. The day you got engaged perhaps. Or a childhood Christmas. Maybe a time with your grandparents.

Hold your memory while you gather another, a time of real adventure, such as when you first learned to ride a bike, or galloped on a horse, or perhaps did something exciting on a vacation. Now, we were meant to live in a world like that-every day. Just as our lungs are made to breathe oxygen, our souls are designed to flourish in an atmosphere rich in love and meaning, security and significance, intimacy and adventure. But we don't live in that world anymore. Far from it. Though we try to resolve the dilemma by disowning our desire, it doesn't work. It is the soul's equivalent of holding our breath. Eventually, we find ourselves gasping for air.

How to come through disillusionment with having dreams and hopes that are still alive?
We need dreams to be able to navigate forward. How to keep desire alive, how to
learn to live in a way you feel alive?

Listen: [OneRepublic - Marchin On]

There’s so many wars we fought,
There’s so many things we’re not,
But with what we have,
I promise you that,
We’re marching on,
(We’re marching on)
(We’re marching on).

This song really spoke to me today, I think I found a new band to like too.

GOD OF JUSTICE LYRICS - TIM HUGHES

God of Justice, Saviour to all
Came to rescue the weak and the poor
Chose to serve and not be served

Jesus, You have called us
Freely we've received
Now freely we will give

We must go live to feed the hungry
Stand beside the broken
We must go
Stepping forward keep us from just singing
Move us into action
We must go

To act justly everyday
Loving mercy in everyway
Walking humbly before You God

You have shown us, what You require
Freely we've received
Now freely we will give

Fill us up and send us out
Fill us up and send us out
Fill us up and send us out Lord

I am...

...blessed by fellowship, overwhelmed by joy, melted by love, hold together by peace, challenged by vision.

How are you?

[Sunday eve]

Today's verse is “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”- Luke 11:13

I am chilling out in sunday evening. Coming week, I need total increase in faith and in motivation. Few things to do which I have pushed back due to fear, lack of motivation or just not quite knowing how to do them, and now can't avoid them. Also recently stepped in faith somewhere and now I'm a bit afraid of the outcome.

Was good to be reminded this morning of this verse: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;" Prov. 3:5

Making to do's list for the coming week, tying some loose ends, thinking of family and friends near and far.

How do you like my new lay out? Background picture isn't mine, but I'd like
to change it to one of my own soon.

With this song I wish you a good week - joy and peace be yours!
