easter.

(Heikki Tyynysniemi/SK)

On Friday night.
We were about to run straight to Golgata,
we knew they were going there.
Then my sister stopped and said:
"Wait, I want to see Jesus
when he's still alive."
So we stopped and waited
and saw them coming. He could barely walk.
We walked in same pace,
sound of roman soldiers march echoed in starbright night.
It was so dark and coold and beautiful.

On sunday morning
I know He lives
and because of that
I may live.

hiljainen viikko.

This is one of my favorite prayers in Bible,

probably also one of the most powerful ones.

"...Jesus,

..remember me

when thou comest

into

thy kingdom."

Luke 23:42

Connections and fine lines.

Fashionblogs have been in fashion for a while.
Maybe i should do my comment on this too.
I like photography and as a small girl
i sometimes dreamed of career in fashion.
Ecologically thinking, fashion is crime.

I have had e-mail since 1997 and mobile phone
since 1998. Yesterday night i wondered about
all this instant messaging culture. Even as I am
using all finest electronical communication devices
and so "reachable" 24-7-365, i think i'm more
lonely than ever before in last 10 yrs. Without
conciously choosing so. Please, bring back
old fashioned community society and face-2-face
friendships.

Or just call or facebook me. :)

upside down.

kevätsäteet häikäisee silmiä
tuhat pientä timanttia
enää hetki niin kaikki
puhkeaa elämään

ojanpientareella pehmeitä kissoja
linnut karjuvat puissa riemuaan
vesi juoksee sulattaa polkujaan

hengitän syvään

lapaset kädessä
loskaa kengässä

hengitän syvään

veri kohisee korvissa
tuuli puhaltaa lävitseni
odotan uusia alkuja
odotan kesää

How do you see?

Juno.

I heard first through friend's friends friend that it wasn't worth watching,
and so to avoid uncomfortable situations I didn't go to see it.

But then after seeing some previews I became
more suspicious and watched it anyway. And loved it.

Simpe and not. Black and white with shades and shadows.

I found Juno very pro-life, pro-love, pro-long term
relationships. It raised a good lot of questions
and thoughts and without pointing
one's finger at obvious things it managed to come
across deeply philosophical. And entertaining.
It was somewhat shortest 90minutes in recent
box office hits.

I can recommend it to anyone who thinks
that they can understand and process
idea of
possible consequences of (premarital)
sex and that all things and decicions that
people do in movies are not maybe ones people would do
in real life. We turn sometimes to do better,
sometimes worse. :)

After watching Juno I felt like it would be
really good to have some kind
of christian data base or reliable source
to find out what movies are really worth of watching.
My brother then helped me to find
http://www.christianitytoday.com/movies/
and after reading couple of previews of
movies I had seen I think this site is worth
visiting once you are pondering whether
to go to movies or not.

I do not write this to baby-sit, but I personally think
that I don't have to see everything and rather watch or
listen something what I honestly enjoy.
"Everything is permissible"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"—but not everything is constructive..."
