Pleasure is often more about drugging ourselves than it actually is about enjoying ourselves. Wicked thought, but true. The things we do to avoid the ache often end up hurting us more than the ache itself. Living in a fallen world is not easy. And it is not even meant to be. It is a battle and a journey. It is a paradox.
I have began to believe that my desires will not be fully filled until the coming kingdom.
In here, only if I am able to surrender myself fully to Lord, and then covered by his authority and protection, I can see glimpse of what I was meant to be and my life was meant to turn out.
So random thoughts, but I keep on learning and coming back on this matter of desire.
