"Beautiful one I love
Beautiful one I adore
Beautiful one my soul must sing
Powerful so powerful your glory fills the skies
Your mighty works displayed for all to see
The beauty of your majesty awakes my heart to sing
How marvelous, how wonderful you are"
- Chris Tomlin: Beautiful one
Just so happy this morning with and without many
apparent reasons. Even thought i broke my
favorite mug last nite.. (Which i nearly cried over
for, i really was nice and big and
a gift from a friend from london)
And even thought it's beautiful sunshiny day
and i plan to work inside on computer for
next 7 hrs. Just insides of me bubble with happiness.
Yesterday night i read a lovely book,
classic story, "the Secret Garden". Loved the
way how they described change happening in
the children. Innocent, sweet lil book.
Have a wee bit of patience, laddie.
* coffee break*
Lately everyone seems to be a bit on edge
in school, in next few weeks
we are going to have to hand in reports of
advanced special studies and bachelor's theses.
Walking back to home after school yesterday
i saw bunch of young men playing football on field
near my house. It looked like great fun
and i realised how much i miss playing team sports.
Or just having group of friends living
in neighbourhood, always up for a game or
play outside. Some of the best memories of
childhood times are memories
of playing outside with friends and kids from
the block. We must have known dozens of
different games and sports.
My brother has often heard the story of first
english word he learned by himself.
We lived in kibbutz and playing football was
favourite childrens favourite pastime. At twilight
one day my brother came home running happily
and asked my mum: "Mum, what's in finnish
flai goukiipr?" Took awhile from mum to figure
out that word this 7-year old was looking
for was flying goalkeeper. :)
