Pray for peace to Jerusalem.

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Rom.1:1-2 [MSG]

How easy it would be to be adjusted in the culture, without noticing. So please, don't.
Do not become adjusted to culture (i say, even "church" culture) without thinking.
All we seek acceptance and that's often why we try to adjust and fit in. Mostly unconsciously.
Another thing is that media has more power on us than what we even think of.

I'm preparing to talk about sabbath as a spiritual discipline tomorrow morning.
And I also want us to pray for and bless Israel.
I think that both are probably quite against main culture at the moment.
Atleast I found that even preparing, I felt that these things are even more important
and deep than what I thought in the first place.

I would love you to read Romans 9-11 and especially that chapter 11,
to see what Paul had to say about this subject. He puts it so well that
it is perfectly relevant today.
