It requires such discipline of me,
to surrender,
to be humbled by it,
when I know,
I can be a reason for things to be hard for you
and your heart is in danger, of being broken,
because I really like you,
I wouldn't want anything to hurt you,
and when I know,
I'm what hurts you, even if I never wanted it to be so,
I really have to find good reasons to remain.
My hope lies entirely, in redemption.
I trust in it, even when I can't see.
I don't like this at all,
but I do like you.
