It's not your fault.
Let me get it out and in order,
I like my ducks all over the place.
Now that just doesn't quite cut it,
because I like my space and not invaders,
nice to be wanted but not if something
is wanted of me.
You can't impress me much
by following, by learning my speak
and by imitating my manner of words
It should be I who wants to follow
who would get impressed
and who would adore the steps one takes
So create your own language
Man your own speech
Rise up with ambition
Be yourself, learn to stand alone
and you will surely find your counterpart
(but most probably not from here).
Yes I'm abusing the grammar here,
but I think even Anne of Avonlea
would stand with me.
