I was thinking today about parenthood.
My mom and dad have had me when they were so young that today they have had me for more time than they haven't had me in their life. Thank you mama & papa, you are amazing! Raising up 4 kids and leading successful lives! ♥
Then I was thinking about nations. I'm living in my 4th country at the moment,
and sometimes I think that it's impossible to feel totally at home in any other
culture than one you grew up with. But then I go what I call my home country
and don't really fit in all that well so I guess just have to wait until heaven comes
here to feel completely home.
Just wanted to say Hello! to all dutch,
israeli and australians who might
possibly read this, thank you for all your hospitality,
part of me will always
be with you and longing to come live with you again.
I love to learn about cultures and it never
ceases to fascinate me how different
things form and shape us.
I recently read this article about how many multi-cultural
marriages end up in divorce, then I was thinking that many marriages in modern world end up in divorce anyway (why is that? individualism? expectations? who knows?)
and I think any marriage is multi-cultural anyway as each family has it's own culture.
Then I was thinking about "the lost boys", sunshine and beaches, compassionism, moomins, warrior hearts and celebrating sabbath, but more about those later.
xoxo
